A futurist will engage Pharmacy Connect delegates on how to stay ahead of change
The pharmacy industry is undergoing significant changes with pharmacies increasingly required to make fundamental changes in how they conduct their business to keep up with shifts in the market.
Futurist and innovation expert Nils Vesk will provide tips on how pharmacies can make these changes, at Pharmacy Connect.
In this interactive session, Mr Vesk plans to unpack the most critical technology and customer service trends that will affect the pharmacy business of tomorrow.
“Everything is in flux, every minute of every day something is changing. New pharmaceutical funding agreements from the Australian government, new regulations, increased competition, changing customer behaviours, changing business technology and changing business systems just to name a few,” he says.
“Knowing what’s changing in the business world is important, but knowing how to stay ahead of the curve is crucial.”
Mr Vesk says that delegates at this session will gain an understanding of the key distributive trends that are impacting retail business, effective innovation techniques to positively influence sales and customers, and a comprehensive guide to systems and technologies available to streamline and become more profitable.
“At the same time, attendees will learn some of the most effective ways to bring innovative thinking to help you create differentiation, customer desire and customer intrigue to boost and secure more sales for the future,” he says.
The innovator, author and designer, has become Australia’s pioneering ‘innovation architect’, and has been applying, teaching, and researching innovation around the world for over 15 years.
The session, ‘Pharma Smart’ on Sunday 3 September.
