Advantage Pharmacy has announced its expansion into Western Australia with three pharmacies joining the group

The stores are based in Morley, High Wycombe and Falcon and have moved from the Friendlies Pharmacy banner.

The pharmacies are currently undergoing branding conversions to become fully branded by December 2019 and will be called Advantage Pharmacy Morley, Advantage Pharmacy High Wycombe and Advantage Pharmacy Falcon.

The Advantage Group’s national footprint of 256 pharmacies now includes eight pharmacies in Western Australia, with the Advantage Pharmacy and Chemist Discount Centre brands.

Steven Kastrinakis, CEO of Advantage Group, says that he is excited to be growing the Advantage footprint into WA.

“These three community pharmacies are our first Advantage branded stores in WA; in a State that has always had a stronghold of other pharmacy brands.

“As part of our commitment to our WA Membership, we will also be announcing shortly the appointment of a permanent local team member who will support our pharmacy members and service our brands.

“On behalf of the Advantage Group, I would like to extend my appreciation to our new partners in WA.

“Our team is looking forward to continuing to support member pharmacies to be at the heart of their communities.”

Noel Fosbery, one of the partners of the three pharmacies said, “We’re excited to join Advantage Pharmacy and are very impressed with the level of professionalism, support and professional services they provide.

“We’ve been using Advantage’s backend technology Buy-IT-Right for the past three years, and in that time we have developed a high level of trust with the group.

“This, along with their compelling offer were key factors for us coming on board. We’ve seen the Buy-IT-Right platform improve our GP% and shave hours off each day when it comes to managing inventory.”
