With not long to go till nominations close for this year’s Pharmacy Assistant of the Year, nominate your favourite pharmacy assistant today

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and Maxigesic have launched their Pharmacy Assistant of the Year (PATY) Award, seeking to find the ‘best of the best’ in community pharmacy.

The award “is an opportunity to celebrate outstanding pharmacy assistants and acknowledge the important role they play within community pharmacy and the vital relationships they build with our customers,” says the Pharmacy Guild.

“Acknowledging and rewarding your staff for their hard work is essential, as well as giving your staff the motivation to go the extra mile for your customers.”

“Now in its eleventh year, the Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award provides a truly national platform to acknowledge and appreciate our frontline staff,” says Guild National President, George Tambassis.

“There are over 30,000 pharmacy assistants across Australia. They are the face of our pharmacies, providing care, advice and building relationships with our customers.

“I strongly encourage all owners, pharmacists, industry reps and colleagues to nominate and recognise a deserving pharmacy assistant through this award.”

Nominations close 26 May and can be made here
