The Society of Hospital Pharmacists Australia is looking for several assistant editors for the Journal of Pharmacy Practice and Research.

The journal is now positioned for major change and expansion, says SHPA, and as a result of a significant increase in manuscript submissions and expanded scope of coverage, the JPPR is seeking to appoint three assistant editors.

The role of Assistant Editor is available in an honorary capacity, each appointment being for an initial period of two years, with an option to renew for a further two years if mutually agreed. It is anticipated that these appointments will suit mid-career pharmacists who are interested in developing insights into the publishing processes associated with the production of the Journal, including aspects such as manuscript management, peer review, English language editing, proof reading and author liaison.
