Pharmacists are being invited to have their say about CPD plans

As the CPD year draws to a close, QUT Discipline of Pharmacy unit coordinator and PhD candidate Wendy Thompson is again calling on pharmacists to complete a survey on CPD plans.

Earlier this year she told the AJP that she is investigating what motivates pharmacists to do CPD, and how CPD plans assist with learning.

“I’m hoping the results will guide us on how we educate on the use of the CPD framework, so students are better prepared before practice,” she says.

“It’s one of three studies in my PhD titled; ‘The role of undergraduate education in developing a commitment to lifelong learning and continuing professional development’.”

Pharmacists can share their thoughts on CPD plans by completing this 5-10 minute survey and contribute to research at QUT.
