Poll: Who should be our next Health Minister?

question mark poll

A new day, a new Prime Minister – and a potential Cabinet reshuffle with it. AJP is wondering who your choice would be for Health Minister

On Friday afternoon, the Liberal Party voted for a new leader in Scott Morrison, who now takes over Malcolm Turnbull in the position of Prime Minister of Australia.

In the midst of the leadership spill, Health Minister Greg Hunt tendered his resignation to Mr Turnbull, citing “an irretrievable loss of support for the leadership and loss of Party unity within both the Ministry and broader Party Room”.

Mr Hunt was heralded as a potential Deputy leader under Peter Dutton in the spill, however Mr Dutton lost to Mr Morrison 40 – 45.

Instead Minister for the Environment and Energy Josh Frydenberg will be Deputy under Mr Morrison.

With a major Cabinet reshuffle on the cards, the next Australian Minister for Health is anyone’s guess.

So we’re putting it out there to our readers: who do you think should be our next Health Minister?

Sussan Ley at least has the guts to take on the AMA, and she opposes live sheep exports. But she ripped off taxpayers with her travel rorts, and wants to “borrow” enviro water for her farmer mates. None of these idiots on the list are worth supporting really.

Sussan Ley was a little too ready to listen to the lobbyists with the biggest chequebook.
