The news cycle in recent weeks, even months, has been dominated by endless debate and discussion about the slow speed of the COVID vaccination rollout.
In the pharmacy sector, concerns over the slow rollout have also been joined by mixed messages from the federal government over the role that community pharmacy in particular, is scheduled to play in that rollout.
While some regional and rural pharmacies haver already begun offering the vaccine, these are still in selected locations, and there is no plan in place for wider use of the pharmacy network, despite many calls for it to be activated.
