Prescribing inconsistency creates ‘confusion and uncertainty’


Adopting a single, universally accepted definition of prescribing across all health professionals including pharmacists would promote consistency, say researchers from the NSW Community Pharmacy Trials Full scope of practice for community pharmacy could be more successfully realised with consistently applied, agreed definitions for activities such as prescribing, say pharmacy researchers from across Australia and Europe.
