The 2016 Priceline Pharmacy Kooyong Classic saw a health check by a pharmacist or on a digital health kiosk happening every three minutes.
The event, which wrapped up recently, saw almost every player of the tournament visit the Priceline Pharmacy “Health and Beauty Lounge” to complete a health check on the state-of-the-art digital health kiosks after their matches.
“The players were fascinated with the health kiosks and there was a competitive edge as they asked how they compared to their fellow athletes,” says Stephen Roche, CEO – Priceline Pharmacy.
“We are excited to have these machines exclusive to Priceline Pharmacy and available in 60 stores around the country.”
There was also a 40% increase on last year for the public taking up the offer of a free health check with a pharmacist.
Almost 3,000 people passed through the lounge to have a mini-makeover, massage, smoothie, health check or to simply relax.
The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation was also a clear winner for the event, as the tally for donations being made over the four days reached $10,000.
