Reforms boost access to medical abortion


Removal of prescribing and dispensing restrictions on mifepristone linked to improved access through pharmacies, study reveals  Ordering data show “a statistically significant and clinically meaningful increase in the number and geographic distribution of pharmacies” stocking mifepristone in the two years after prescribing and dispensing restrictions were eased in 2023.   Research published in JAMA Network
