Five winners of the Sirianni Scholarship for Future Pharmacist Leaders have been announced

Industry stalwarts Frank and Mina Sirianni are proud to announce the winners of the 2019 Sirianni
Scholarship for Future Pharmacist Leaders.

This year, the five scholarship winners are: 

  • Harrison Khan (NSW)
  • David Paulmert (QLD) 
  • Qiannan Xin (VIC) 
  • Xenia Vrakatselis (TAS) 
  • Tania Bailey (NSW)

The winners of the scholarship receive:

  • Free attendance at the 2019 Medici Capital Pharmacy Ownership Ready Conference including accommodation and flights.
  • A mentorship package with Frank Sirianni over a period of 1 year, and 
  • Free attendance at the 2019 Medici Capital Pharmacy Industry Dinner in the nearest capital city

The total value of the scholarship is approximately $2,500 each.

In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants submitted a response to the statement: “The opportunities I see for the future of pharmacy…”

Applications were judged by a panel of Frank Sirianni, Mina Sirianni and Jane Mitchell of Ascot Vale Pharmacy in Melbourne.

Frank Sirianni congratulated all of the pharmacists that applied for the scholarship, “We received a large number of high calibre applications, displaying eagerness, positivity and diverse outlooks on the future of pharmacy. It was also fantastic to see some of the innovative solutions from the applicants. We congratulate all of the winners and entrants too!”

Frank & Mina Sirianni this year created The Sirianni Scholarship for Future Pharmacist Leaders, as a way to give back to the pharmacy community and industry.

The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide learning opportunities for junior pharmacists who are looking to become pharmacy owners in the future and a mentorship program to help them achieve their goals sooner.
