Shortage of tenecteplase (Metalyse) injections has been advised after surging global demand Boehringer Ingelheim Australia has advised the TGA of "the likelihood of temporary supply interruptions" to tenecteplase (Metalyse) injection that is predicted to extend over the next 18 months. The shortage is due to manufacturing capacity constraints following increases in demand, said Boehringer Ingelheim.
