Shortages prompt Metalyse shelf-life extension

Hospital pharmacists are being urged to make “appropriate changes” to Metalyse (tenecteplase) packaging to reflect updated expiry dates  Shortages of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Metalyse (tenecteplase) injection products have prompted the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) to extend the shelf life of batches with expiry dates between January 2022 and March 2025, by 12 months.   The move
