Pharmacie Monge has been added to travellers’ itinerary when visiting the city of love
The pharmacy has a dozen Korean-speaking employees and some flyers are written in the language, the New York Times reports.
But why are South Koreans so excited about Pharmacie Monge?
Apparently, ever since a South Korean journalist living in Paris wrote a positive review about the pharmacy in a 2007 blog post, they have been flocking to the shop ever since.
“We are spontaneously put in Korean guidebooks!” owner Alexandre Freyburger told NY Times.

French brands of cosmetics and skincare products such as Avène and Nuxe also tend to cost more in Asia, encouraging tourists to stock up while in the country.
