Temporary PBS listing for US product

Ongoing shortages of tenofovir with emtricitabine tablets prompt temporary PBS listing of alternative brand  The Department of Health and Aged Care will temporarily list US approved medication, Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 200 mg/300 mg Tablets (Laurus Labs, USA) on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), from 1 October 2024, in response to medicines shortages.
