A Chemplus expo has been widened to welcome all members of the TerryWhite Chemmart group
More than 350 people, including hundreds of pharmacy owners and pharmacy staff, have come together for valuable business development and networking opportunities at the inaugural TerryWhite Chemmart Suppliers and Strategic Partners Expo held recently at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The event also provided members with an update on the business, including the launch of the TerryWhite Chemmart Baby Diaries App, which has been likened to a ‘one-stop-shop’ for new parents.
Pharmacist Ann Kruimel, from TerryWhite Chemmart Elizabeth Park, said she was impressed with the opportunities presented at the Expo, especially the chance to meet with suppliers and partners directly about new products.
“We were able to speak with suppliers about the ranges of products available, experience new products first hand, and receive product samples,” Ms Kruimel said.
“The industry is moving quickly, and TerryWhite Chemmart has given us the chance to proactively stay ahead of the pack, which I really appreciate.”
TerryWhite Chemmart CEO Anthony White said the Expo was a key event on the calendar for South Australian members and available to all members nationwide.
“Our pharmacists play such an important role in the community, so we want to make sure they have direct access to suppliers and industry partners to ask questions and learn more about new and interesting products on the market,” Mr White said.
“We are always on the lookout for ways to connect with our staff and share information about both industry developments and business developments, and the TerryWhite Chemmart Suppliers and Strategic Partners Expo has proven to be a great way to do that.”
The Expo has run since 2008 as a Chemplus event but this was the first year it was held as part of the merged TerryWhite Chemmart network.
