Andrew Stafford honoured with leading consultant pharmacy award

Dr Andrew Stafford has been named as the 2018 AACP MIMS Consultant Pharmacist of the Year.

Announcing the award at ConPharm 2018 in Brisbane, Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacists (AACP) president Joe O’Malley described Dr Stafford, who was accredited as a consultant in 2005, as an “author, researcher and contributor who is an outstanding role model for the profession.”

Dr Stafford is Director of Dementia Training Australia at the WA Centre of Health & Ageing, University of Western Australia, and a Director of Consultant Pharmacy Services with Dr Peter Tenni and Dr Shane Jackson. He is also an adjunct professor with the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at Curtin University, WA.
