TerryWhite Chemmart held its annual Supplier and Strategic Partners Expo this month at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre
More than 150 representatives from 70 brands attended the expo to showcase and discuss new product developments with the pharmacy network’s 165 managers and operators who attended.
Chief Merchandise and Marketing Officer Shane Lipton said such events helped reinforce that it takes good relationships with suppliers, as well as customers, to build a successful pharmacy brand.
“Our relationships with our supplier partners are paramount in ensuring we can provide Australians with not only the best health and beauty offering possible but at great value prices,” Mr Lipton said.
“It also gives us an opportunity to celebrate the mutual benefits of working together and come up with new strategies for how we can grow both our business and theirs alongside one another.
“When your supplier partners and pharmacy operators work so closely together, the importance of events like this really can’t be overstated.”
The event originally began as an initiative by the South Australian-based Chemplus pharmacy brand before their merger with Terry White Chemists in 2015 and has been retained as a feature on the annual TerryWhite Chemmart events calendar.
