The TGA has issued a warning that G Female Oral Tablets pose a serious health risk and should not be taken
The TGA tested the product and discovered that the tablets contain undeclared sildenafil.
The supply of G Female Oral Tablets containing undisclosed sildenafil is illegal, it says.
“G Female Oral Tablets have not been assessed by the TGA for quality, safety or efficacy as required under Australian legislation, and the place of manufacture is not approved by the TGA,” the TGA says.
“TGA investigations have shown that a number of people in Australia may have bought the product online.”
It has asked anyone in possession of G Female Oral Tablets to stop taking them immediately and bring any remaining tablets to their pharmacy for safe disposal.

Consumers are also asked to discuss any concerns arising from their use of the tablets with a health practitioner.
The TGA has also warned Australians to be extremely careful when buying medicines from unknown overseas internet sites.
