WA gives green light for pharmacist UTI treatment

Women in Western Australia can now receive treatment for urinary tract infections (UTIs) through community pharmacies  Pharmacists in WA who have undergone specific training will be able to prescribe antibiotics for uncomplicated UTIs to patients aged 18 to 65 years, from today.   The decision has been welcomed by Kristian Ray the Pharmaceutical Society of
