Pharmacists choice awards winners revealed at 2020 Diamond Awards
Pharmacy’s preferred consumer healthcare product manufacturers have been revealed, with Arrotex, Ego and Sanofi-Aventis among those honoured.
The awards were part of the Consumer Healthcare Products Australia (CHP, formerly ASMI) Diamond Awards, which were announced virtually earlier this week.
The Diamond Awards “celebrate marketing and sales excellence in the consumer healthcare products industry”, CHP said in a release.
They include four Sales Awards, determined from survey responses collected from over 1400 pharmacists and pharmacy assistants.
Most Preferred Supplier (with pharmacy sales <100mil) – Arrotex
Most Preferred Supplier (with pharmacy sales >100mil) – Ego Pharmaceuticals
Quality Use of Medicines Excellence (with pharmacy sales <100mil) – HW Woods
Quality Use of Medicines Excellence (with pharmacy sales >100mil) – Sanofi-Aventis Healthcare
Among the winners of the Marketing Awards, which are assessed by a panel of independent, expert judges were the following:

Best Marketing Campaign for a Consumer Healthcare Product (small budget): Bayer Australia for Canesten-Thrush The Musical 2
Best Healthcare Professional Marketing Campaign: Ego Pharmaceuticals for QV Intensive with Ceramides and QV Flare Up
Best Digital/Social Media Campaign: Care Pharmaceuticals for Hydralyte – Colour Burst
Best Launch of a Consumer Healthcare Product: Aspen Pharmacare for Fleurstat – Could it be BV?
Best PR Campaign: GlaxoSmithLike for Osteo Up-schedule
