Wizard Pharmacy is celebrating its ten-year partnership with the Starlight Children’s Foundation with the launch of its Starlight Giving Trees in all pharmacies
The initiative is planned to help raise money for sick children and their families this Christmas.
The Wizard Pharmacy group hopes to raise $20,000 in customer donations by Christmas Eve, which will provide access for 500 sick kids to the Starlight Express Room at the Perth Children’s Hospital for the duration of their hospital stay.
Wizard Pharmacy Chief Operating Officer Sally Parker said that after the tough year everyone has had, it was very important that Wizard Pharmacy give back and do its part in bringing the joy and magic back into Christmas.
“Our partnership with the Starlight Children’s Foundation is one we all hold very close to our hearts, so it means a lot to the entire Wizard family across our network that we can rally together and do something very special for them,” she said.
“I am already overwhelmed by the generosity of our local WA community, and am looking forward to seeing how we all come together to make a difference to the lives of sick children, young people and their families this Christmas with our final result.”
Wizard Pharmacy is accepting donations across all 30 West Australian pharmacies, with the final presentation to occur the week of Christmas.
