World Pharmacy Council makes vaccination pitch


Community pharmacists should be authorised and funded to provide immunisations for all vaccine-preventable diseases, the World Pharmacy Council (WPC) believes.   In its Vaccination services in community pharmacies report the WPC called on governments to “engage and promote community pharmacies as local preventative health hubs, including for the provision of a broad range of vaccines”.
