Another state likely to launch UTI trial this year

Pharmacists in Western Australia could see their scope of practice expand to include prescribing for urinary tract infections (UTIs) later this year  Community pharmacy leaders are working with the WA Government and Department of Health to launch a pharmacist prescribing trial similar to the UTI Pharmacy Pilot – Queensland (UTIPP-Q) before the end of 2023.
