Chemist Warehouse today launched its 115th store in Victoria in the iconic Bourke Street Mall.

The brand celebrated its new store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Deputy Lord Mayor Susan Riley and a special performance by Melbourne’s Choir of Hope and Inspiration – formerly known as the Choir of Hard Knocks.

“We pride ourselves on offering the highest level of care and service to as many Australians as possible and we look forward to offering inner Melbournians, a broad range of exclusive brands for Chemist Warehouse discounted prices,” said MC Grace Theodoratos.

“At Chemist Warehouse, we pride ourselves on giving back to the community,”

“Whether it is to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research or supporting Women’s Health through Liptember, we aim to support charities and local communities.

“We recently developed a jingle ‘Our House’ and what a great way to show case this jingle, by having the “Melbourne Choir of Hope and Inspiration’ perform it live for us today.”

Chemist Warehouse now has just under 300 stores across Australia.

“As a Melbourne born, privately owned business, to launch a store in Bourke Street Mall alongside all the other major retailers that are institutions here in Australia, is a significant milestone for us,” says Chemist Warehouse Group COO, Mario Tascone.

“What’s also important is the chance for us to give back and support the local community when the opportunity arises.

“That’s why we are so excited to partner with the iconic Melbourne Choir of Hope & Inspiration and get them on board to help us launch this new store. We look forward to building an ongoing relationship with the group.”
