Forum: Targin Product Presentations

“I can’t understand why pharmaceutical companies kept choosing product presentations that increase rather than mitigate medication errors. Though we have been so blessed with an array of colours to select from by nature and science, some eggheads still think the best way to distinguish two different strengths of the same medication is to make one a lighter hue of the other!

I shudder  at the thought of an opioid-naive patient being mistakenly supplied Targin 40/20mg, instead of the Targin 2.5/1.25mg one.

This will make a good ‘Spot the Difference’ challenge though, especially for those of us who are colour blind!”
