Gold Cross endorses Dose Innovations’ Rowa Automated Dispensary

Dose Innovations' Rowa

Gold Cross has announced a new endorsement of Queensland firm Dose Innovations and its Rowa Automated Dispensary system, to bring a new level of automation and customer-focus to Guild member pharmacies.

The National President of the Guild, George Tambassis says: “Forward dispensing can bring significant benefits to our member pharmacies.

“In today’s tough market, we need to take advantage of all the opportunities that technology can provide to improve healthcare outcomes for patients, as well as conditions for our people.

“The Rowa system that Dose Innovations offers does exactly that – it is world-class, and we recognise the difference a Rowa system can make for community pharmacies.”

Trevor Clarkin, General Manager Gold Cross, says: ‘We spent a significant amount of time researching, evaluating and investigating the background of this technology, as well as Dose Innovations as the distributor across Australia and New Zealand.

“We are very satisfied with the outcome, and are pleased to endorse the Rowa Automated Dispensary system, as provided, installed and maintained by Dose Innovations.”

A Rowa system is designed to revolutionise the workflow in a standard pharmacy. It can automate the back office work of a dispensary, taking control of stock management, inventory control, order management, order checking and receiving – allowing staff extra time to focus on patient-centred activities.

Robert Allen, CEO Dose Innovations says: “I’m extremely proud that Gold Cross has endorsed our Rowa Automated Dispense systems, as we’re currently the only pharmacy automation system with this endorsement.

“I’ve installed my Rowa solutions into my own pharmacies, so I know first-hand the benefits that automation with Rowa can provide.”
