Local pharma exec hit with record jail sentence


Prison and $2m in fines as court finds local company and former export manager guilty of criminal cartel conduct over price-fixing, bid-rigging and more Queensland-based pharmaceutical company Alkaloids of Australia has been fined close to $2 million dollars and one of its executives given an almost three-year jail sentence for engaging in “criminal cartel conduct”.
