Minfos and Willach introduce a complete dispense and POS integration

Minfos and Willach have delivered a seamless and comprehensive dispense and POS integration for the CONSIS robot.

The pilot site has been running successfully since October and further rollout plans are in progress with other Minfos/CONSIS pharmacies.

The new Minfos and CONSIS robot integration helps deliver more accuracy and efficiency in the dispensing process, says Willach, and benefits pharmacies by giving them extra control in dispensing and helps reduce double handling.

The integration includes the following features:

  • Live stock on hand (SOH) updates from Minfos and the CONSIS robot.
  • Both systems can be used to report on stock outages or SOH variances.
  • Orders loaded into the CONSIS robot are automatically marked off in Minfos, meaning products no longer need to be scanned twice.

Stock management between the CONSIS robot and Minfos is now more transparent, Willach says. Staff can see live CONSIS SOH levels in the Minfos dispense and POS modules as they work and enjoy a streamlined stock receipting process.

As stock is loaded into CONSIS, the quantity is automatically updated in Minfos and receipted against orders. Shortcuts to the CONSIS drug list in Minfos also help deliver an enhanced user experience when dispensing.

Andrew Hall, EBOS General Manager Pharmacy Technology says, “Many of our pharmacies can benefit from the improved efficiency and integrated ordering offered by the Minfos/CONSIS solution.”

Willach Managing Director John Koot says, “The integration has stemmed from a strong working relationship between Minfos and Willach and will help improve stock management and efficiency for our mutual customers.”

The integration is being progressively released to Minfos/CONSIS pharmacies from October 2016.
