MM2018 early bird registrations open

More than 1,000 delegates, six streams, pre-conference workshops, three main conference days and, last but not least, one unforgettable gala dinner…

Early bird registrations have opened for Medicines Management 2018, the 44th SHPA National Conference (MM2018), with six months until Australia’s largest annual scientific pharmacy conference is held in Brisbane.

SHPA Chief Executive Kristin Michaels says a focus on conference redesign and innovation will ensure
delegates are challenged and energised to engage with the theme of ‘it’s time’.

“This year’s six streams – time-critical care, digital health, lifespan, technicians, workforce and wellbeing, and leadership – will reflect the present and future of practice and innovation in Australian pharmacy, all in the context of ‘time’ as a truly precious commodity in healthcare.”

Accompanying the opening of registrations, a video showcasing the can’t-miss moments of the conference has also been released.

“More than 1,000 delegates, six streams, pre-conference workshops, three main conference days and, last but not least, one unforgettable gala dinner are all key ingredients that keep delegates coming back year after year,” says Associate Professor Michael Barras, Chair of the Scientific Organising Committee.

“Among Australia’s leading community of pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy assistants, the buzz at
MM2018 will be like no other, and to everyone from the committed and the curious we say ‘it’s time’ to drive your career forward and register for MM2018 today.”

Associate Professor Barras says details of the MM2018 program of national and international speakers will be revealed in coming weeks.
