Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President, George Tambassis, says it is “terrific” to see more than 600 nominations so far—and counting.

He encouraged pharmacy assistants to self-nominate before the 16th.

“Pharmacy assistants provide a vital link in our healthcare system, providing advice, care and support when we are at our most vulnerable.

“It’s important to acknowledge the vital role pharmacy assistants play within community pharmacies. This Award presents an opportunity to both celebrate and further develop their careers,” Mr MacKenzie says.
