Trade show boost at APP 2017

An extra day of trade exhibition viewing will be available at next year’s APP

The Pharmacy Guild has announced an additional full day of trading at APP2017, with the exhibition now opening on the Thursday evening and closing lunchtime on Sunday.

APP Chairman Kos Sclavos said that the extra day is being introduced to make the most of the valuable opportunity APP provides for delegates and exhibitors to meet face-to-face.

“Due to overwhelming feedback from both attendees and suppliers, the trade exhibition will now be open all day on the Friday as well”, Mr Sclavos said.

“As APP is the only pharmacy trade exhibition which some pharmacists and retail managers attend and at which some suppliers exhibit, we need to allow for the maximum time possible for interaction between these two groups”.

As is APP tradition, the trade exhibition will open with one of the event’s social highlights, the Welcome Reception. Now held on the Thursday evening, the Welcome Reception is the networking focal point of APP and provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues, meet with suppliers, and build new business relationships in a relaxed environment.

APP will run from 9-12 March at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland. The largest pharmacy conference and trade show in Australia, APP offers attendees a comprehensive four-day educational program, an exciting social agenda and a trade exhibition featuring over 400 stands showcasing the latest products, services and industry developments.

Online registrations will be open on this site from mid-September.
