Poll: Who do you want as Health Minister?

Canberra parliament house

Following Sussan Ley’s resignation as Health Minister, it’s expected that her replacement will be announced early this week.

To date the frontrunner appears to be Senator Arthur Sinodinos, who is currently Acting Minister for Health and Aged Care, and Minister for Sport.

PM Malcolm Turnbull is tipped to be aiming for a “minimalist” reshuffle when selecting a new Health Minister. And according to Fairfax reports, while giving the role to Tony Abbott would certainly achieve this, his comments in The Australian over the weekend have put an end to any potential return to Cabinet.

Instead of predicting the next Minister, AJP would like to know who you’d prefer to see in the role (in your ideal world!) And if your preferred candidate isn’t listed, tell us in comments.

Story updated: We’ve added in an extra option for readers whose ideal world doesn’t involve a Coalition government.
