APP2017 welcomes back Malcolm Scrymgeour

APP2017 welcomes back retail consultant and strategist Malcolm Scrymgeour, Director of Zumo Retail as a speaker in March

Malcolm Scrymgeour has forged a formidable reputation as a retail management consultant, working in senior executive marketing and merchandising roles for global brands such as Cadbury, Cocoa-Cola, Shell and the Mayne Group.

Throughout his time working across a diverse scope of retail channels including pharmacy, liquor, convenience stores and newsagents, Mr Scrymgeour developed the FAR-SPPACE™ concept for assessing the in-store consumer experience.

“Consumers subconsciously judge a store; the first thing they notice is ‘freshness’ and this is the same when buying products from the shelves,” he says.

The Pharmacy Guild is encouraging delegates to join Mr Scrymgeour for his session on Sunday 12 March, and gain insights into managing and executing merchandising standards and processes that work for your store.

Mr Scrymgeour will also outline a merchandising manual, which includes examples and images of standards required for gondola ends, shelves, promotions and much, much more.

APP is to be held from 9-12 March at Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre. For a full program or to register online, visit;
