New front runners in customer ratings?

Priceline Pharmacy, Discount Drug Stores have toppled My Chemist from top of customer satisfaction polls in past months… but it’s still close behind

While My Chemist took out the top prize in the “Chemist/Pharmacy of the Year” category in the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2017, competitors are scrambling to improve their own ratings.

Priceline Pharmacy is the latest winner, scoring top place in customer satisfaction for the April Roy Morgan poll.

The banner has ranked in the top five for customer satisfaction every month since the beginning of last year (except for September).

Most times it outranked Chemist Warehouse and oftentimes outranked TerryWhite Chemmart.

But in nearly more than a year it has not topped the poll – until now.

Discount Drug Stores has featured in the top five a couple of times in the past year, but shot up to first place in March with a customer satisfaction score of 91%, pushing My Chemist to second place.

However this was short-lived, with DDS dropping down to third place in April, replaced by Priceline Pharmacy at the top with 90% rating and My Chemist coming a close second.

In 2017 My Chemist fought a close battle for the top spot with Terry White, winning the monthly poll from January to May inclusive as well as in November.

The awards are based on data from a monthly poll of over 9000 Australians.
